Gregory Rodrigues Earned a Contender-Level Next Fight

Gregory Rodrigues defeated Anthony Hernandez by unanimous decision in Sacramento on Aug. 22. The judges scored the five-round main event 49-46 and 48-47 twice, giving Rodrigues his fourth consecutive victory.

The opponent and duration make the result different from a single explosive finish. Hernandez's pressure forces sustained defensive choices, and Rodrigues had to solve that problem over 25 minutes rather than rely on one exchange.
